“ Love coming to Penny Black and sitting in their outdoor patio area all summer long. Service is always great drinks are good, and the food is always worth coming back for. Planned to have their chicken wings which I think are the best in Rochester. Well worth trying . This time I enjoyed their Blackened Chicken BBQ Cobb with Romaine, blackened chicken, sweet BBQ, Cheddar, bacon, avocado, heirloom tomato, crispy onions, herb ranch. This salad was full of fresh vegetables and toppings. Such great crisp and flavor. ”

“ new owners as of 4 weeks ago, Stewart and Chris took over. They changed about 40% of the menu and introduced some real tasty amercan fare upscale bar food. Chef Poppy knocks it out of the house with a quality presentation coupled with very flavorful dishes. I enjoyed the black and blue salad. The steak was seasoned to perfection and very juicy. I am quite impressed with the atmosphere and looking forward to a newer outdoor dining area. When I am back in RH I will be stopping here for sure. I highly recommend. Tell them Mr. Flash sent you and they be offering you a free surpris ”

“ We came here for Karaoke night which starts at 9pm on Tuesday near the bar area. We got there around 7:30pm but the crowd doesn't pick up until much later obviously. You could find a spot both at the bar or around the dining area. I ordered their house sweet fries which were less than appetizing. Would not recommend. Our waiter was really friendly and has great recommendations. The chicken and shrimp tacos are delicious and so are the quesadillas! They have a small selection of mock-tail options as well. A good casual spot to hang out and sing your heart out. They have three mics too incase your group is a trio ”

“ Wow! What an awesome spot!!!!! I had the afternoon off and we decided to head to Rochester. There are so many fun places with great food, drink and overall atmosphere. We found a seat at the bar and enjoyed talking to the bartender and staff who happened to be up there on their day off. It was such an entertaining afternoon that we lost a few hours!!! hahaa We loved the hand-battered chickens trips and tatter tots. They have a fantastic selection of drinks and a few beers on tap. The bartenders really know what they are doing and make you feel right at home. I found out that they have live music on Thursday and Friday evenings. We plan to head back for another fun filled time at Penny Blacks. BTW...they have a cool outside patio area with an open fire space. ”

“ Next stop was here. We came in and sat right down. We have been here before with friends and I liked it. But we mostly wanted to go somewhere close. This is a nice big place with a huge bar. They have a great beer selection. I wanted this pretty green drink mostly because it was pretty. Bad idea! It was delicious but I probably should have stuck with beer. It didn't look like we were going to make it to the spot I wanted to try for dinner so we ordered some yummy pretzel bites. This is a pretty standard bar. Fun place to hang out, plenty of room. Warm atmosphere. I hang out in Rochester a lot so I'm sure I'll be back! ”
